Glow & Go / Belfast
Spray tan Belfast
Our east Belfast studio sits on the Woodstock Road, open every day of the year from six until twelve. No appointment book, no therapist, no waiting on someone to fit you in. You scan in, tan yourself, and get on with your evening.
Finding us
East Belfast, a few minutes from the city centre and easy to reach from Ballyhackamore, Castlereagh and Cregagh.
The Woodstock Road runs straight out of the city centre, so we are a short drive or a Glider and bus hop from town. Ballyhackamore, Cregagh, Castlereagh and the Ravenhill Road are all within a few minutes.
Parking is easy, which is not something you can say about much of Belfast. You can pull in right outside in the bus lane between 9:30am and 4:40pm, and again from 6pm until midnight. Outside those hours there is plenty on the side street and on the street opposite.
Entry is by app rather than reception, so nobody has to be there to let you in. Your slot begins the moment you scan.
Why here
Belfast salons close when the working day does. That is the gap this studio was opened to fill.
Six in the morning before the office. Eleven at night when you finally sit down. Sunday afternoon. If you have ever given up on a tan because nowhere was open when you were free, this is the answer to that.
Nobody is in the room with you. Nobody sees you and nobody touches you, and you are in complete privacy from the moment the door closes. The studio is staffed, so if it is your first time and you would like a hand, ring the number on the door and someone will come and show you how the machine works before you go in.
No phone calls, no waiting on a reply, no diary to negotiate. Pick your slot online and it is done. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday book up every week, so get those in ahead of time. If the evenings have gone, the early mornings are the quietest slots we have.
This is where it started. We lived in Belfast, opened our first beauty salon on the Woodstock Road, and added the contactless studio onto it. When we moved home to Bangor we took the idea with us and opened there too. Two studios, both family run in Northern Ireland. Message us and you get a person who knows the machines, not a support ticket.
In Belfast
Belfast carries the two we recommend to most people, including almost every first timer. If you want our deepest colour or the clear formula, they live in Bangor.
A rich cocoa bronze base that enhances your natural skin tone while neutralising unwanted orange tones. The safest first choice, and the one most people settle on. Develops from around four hours and reaches its deepest at 24.
Warm brown undertones for a classic, sun swept bronze. Blended to firm and hydrate as it develops, so it fades evenly rather than patchily. Develops from around four hours.
Ultra Bronze, our deepest, and Bare Glow, our clear formula with no instant bronzer, are both stocked in Bangor. Twenty minutes up the road, and worth the run before a formal.
What people come in for
We tan people from all over Northern Ireland.
Coming as a group? Book consecutive slots and a hen party can be through in well under an hour. Message us and we will hold the times together.
There is always a reason to tan. And when there is not, that is a reason too.
First time in Belfast
A single session is £22, so your first two come to close to the price of one. The first tan tells you which depth you want. The second is the one you get right.
Bringing someone with you? Two tans for £35 between you.
Everything you could possibly need, clear instructions. Great colour. Booth and area clean and tidy. Would use again.Google review, Belfast
Everything has been thought of, it is so so simple and instructions are made so clear of what to do in the booth. The tan turned out such a stunning colour and also faded really nicely, I have been recommending to everyone!Google review, Belfast
Enquiries
Glow & Go is at 283 Woodstock Road, BT6 8PR, in east Belfast. It is a contactless studio, so you tan yourself in a private automated suite rather than being sprayed by hand. We are open 6am until midnight, seven days a week.
Yes. Both studios take bookings until midnight, every night of the week, and open again at six the next morning. A tan can happen after work or before it, rather than instead of something else.
You can park right outside in the bus lane between 9:30am and 4:40pm, and again from 6pm until midnight. Outside those hours there is plenty of space on the side street and on the street opposite.
Often, yes. Booking is instant online rather than a phone call, so if a slot is free you can take it. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday book up every week, so get in early if you want one of those. If the evenings are gone, try the early mornings. We open at six, and they are the quietest slots we have.
Golden Hour and Summer Skin, the two we recommend to most people and to almost every first timer. Ultra Bronze and Bare Glow are stocked at our Bangor studio, and any block of tans you buy works at both, so you can move between them freely.
A single session is £22. First time clients can have two tans for £30, or two for £35 shared with a friend. Blocks of four, eight and ten bring the price down to £17, £16 and £15 a tan.
No. We are a studio rather than a mobile service, so you come to us. What that buys you is hours no mobile tanner can offer and a machine that applies the same even coat every time.
Yes. Book consecutive slots and a large group can be through in well under an hour. Message us and we will hold the times together for you.
We need 24 hours notice. Cancel it yourself in the booking portal and the tan goes back onto your account as a spray tan concession, then rebook whenever suits by clicking Spray Tan Concessions. Nothing is lost.
Book on the portal, download the app and sign in with the same details. At your appointment time, open the app, tap Check In and scan at the door reader. If anything is unclear, ring the number on the door.
